Hi! I'm Shakirah and I turned 39 years old on June 30th. My mom is the best and I am her only child. We are very close. She is an EEG technician and registered sleep tech. My half-brothers, Derek and Marcus are also great. They live in Headland, AL, and Acworth, GA. I am from Albany, GA and I graduated from Westover High School in 2001. I can't believe it has been 20 years since I was cheering for the mighty patriots. After graduation, I attended Darton College and obtained my associate of science in early childhood education. I attended HBCU Albany State University and received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education in Health and Physical Education. Moving to Tucker, GA in 2013 was the best decision I ever made. The opportunity to teach at KinderCare and Atlanta Technical College was an awesome experience. Through patience and determination, I was offered the position of health and PE teacher at Westlake High School in Atlanta, GA. I began my 8th year in August and also serve as Assistant Athletic Director! I also received my specialist in Instructional Technology in December 2022. In my spare time, I love to read, play video games and spend time with family. My little cousins and God kids keep me on the go. It is amazing how much I watch Disney Jr. LOL
